How does SkinVive work?

SkinVive uses a unique formulation of low and high-weight, cross-linked hyaluronic acid and is designed to be very ‘liquidy.’ This is so that it can be evenly injected into the middle layers of the dermis as micro-droplets, over larger surface areas, without creating lumps.

What can SkinVive be used for?

Instead of adding volume to an area, SkinVive is intended to hydrate the skin to address concerns such as roughness, dryness, skin texture and crepiness, firmness, elasticity, and fine lines. By improving these factors, it will improve the overall radiance and glow of the skin.

Where can SkinVive be used?

SkinVive is ideal for large areas like the cheeks, neck, and chest that may need an extra oomph for radiance and smoothness, but we especially love it for areas like around the mouth and lips (when you don’t want added volume to the lips, just hydration), and for fine lines and crepey skin texture around the eyes.

How long will the results from SkinVive last?

SkinVive results can last for 6-9 months at a time. Hyaluronic acid is also an antioxidant and collagen inducer. These properties further help condition the skin, creating a healthier, smoother, more luminescent appearance when it is injected into the dermis. This process takes time however, so you can begin to see deeper results at 1-4 weeks.

The hyaluronic acid on its own does also provide instant hydration.

Does SkinVive hurt?

You may feel the initial poke of the needle, however SkinVive contains lidocaine, a numbing agent, within the product which makes it very tolerable! We also apply a topical numbing cream prior to beginning your treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

It only takes one SkinVive treatment to see improvement to hydration, however results can vary from person to person depending on how the body metabolizes the product, and how well skin is cared for after the treatment. We recommend maintaining your results with a treatment every 6-9 months.
