Meet The Injectable It-Girl: Sculptra

You already know about hyaluronic acid gel fillers, and we love them for instant results and creating sharper lines and contours, but did you know there is a type of filler that gets better over time and helps you age backwards?

You already know about hyaluronic acid gel fillers, and we love them for instant results and creating sharper lines and contours, but did you know there is a type of filler that gets better over time and helps you age backwards?

Meet Sculptra!

Sculptra is a natural substance that comes from lactic acid. We inject Sculptra over broad areas of your face and the product works by telling your body to build its own collagen.

We lose 1% of our collagen each year, which contributes to facial aging so by building this back up with Sculptra, we can slow or reverse the aging process.

What’s unique about Sculptra when compared to HA filler, is that with Sculptra the product itself is gone after a few months and you’re left with your own natural collagen. This means it’s impossible to look puffy or unnatural with Sculptra.

We recommend doing an initial series of 2-4 treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart, and after that we typically do a single maintenance treatment once per year. Results from Sculptra can last up to TWO years.

The results from Sculptra can take around 6-8 weeks to begin to show, because instead of replacing volume immediately, it works with your body to restore it naturally.

The active biostimulator is poly-L-lactic acid which stimulates collagen production through an immune response. This is a natural process, and it takes time.

Collagen synthesis takes anywhere from 8-10 weeks from production to maturation, which means it can take a minute before results are noticeable.

We promise the results are worth the wait.

If you’ve been thinking about it, now is the best time to book a consultation to see what Sculptra can do for you!

Consultations are ALWAYS complimentary!

Every treatment starts with a consultation where we will discuss your concerns and goals, and provide a comprehensive analysis and treatment options.
