Meet Dr. Wendy Tao, ND: KOZA Skin Clinic’s Naturopathic Doctor in Port Coquitlam, BC

We are excited to welcome Dr. Wendy, a seasoned and licensed Naturopathic Doctor with over 9 years of extensive experience, to our team at KOZA Skin Clinic!

Dr. Wendy earned her medical degree from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (BINM) and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta. Her holistic approach to healthcare focuses on diagnosing, treating, and preventing both acute and chronic health conditions, promoting optimal health and graceful aging.

Dr. Wendy uses a variety of naturopathic modalities tailored to individual needs, including clinical nutrition, lifestyle coaching, herbal medicine, homeopathy, and prescription medications. Additionally, she offers specialized treatments such as intravenous nutrient therapy, chelation therapy, and functional lab and nutrigenomic testing.

In the realm of aesthetic medicine, Dr. Wendy provides a range of services, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy for facial rejuvenation and hair restoration.

While her experience covers a broad range of medicine, her focus is women’s health, perimenopause and menopause management, adrenal insufficiency/fatigue, digestive disorders, sleep disorders, metabolic conditions, and dermal fillers and therapeutic Botox injections for conditions like TMJ and migraines.

Dr. Wendy holds advanced certifications in injectables and aesthetic procedures, and she is in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC). She is also a proud member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA).

Dr. Wendy also actively participates in conferences and continuing education seminars to stay current with latest advancements in her field, and serves as a teaching assistant for aesthetic PRP injection training.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys giving back to the community and appreciates the joys of hiking and savoring gourmet food with friends and family.
