What is BioRePeel?

BioRePeel is a new treatment at KOZA Skin Clinic that uses a patented biphasic technology developed by CMed Aesthetic in Italy. This treatment offers biostimulating, revitalizing, and peel-like effects, all without having to put your life on hold like a traditional peel. BioRePeel’s composition helps prevent skin aging and has been clinically tested to reduce UV ray damage, pigmentation, acne, and acne scarring. 

How does BioRePeel work?

BioRePeel combines 35% TCA, lactobionic acid, salicylic acid, tartaric acid, citric acid and aminobutyric acid (GABA) to improve skin texture, tighten loose skin, soften wrinkles, fade scarring, and reduce pigmentation. Enhanced with amino acids, and Vitamin C and Vitamin B2, this peel dissolves the bonds between cells and gently removes the outermost layer of skin, turning over the cells and revealing the glowing smooth layer of skin underneath. This process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in the deeper layers of the skin, ensuring instant and long-lasting results.

How do I prepare my skin before BioRePeel?

While this peel is different than traditional peels with how it works, there are still pre care instructions to follow to ensure your skin is safe and peel ready:

• Avoid exfoliating agents for 48 hours
• Steer clear of AHAs, BHAs, and retinoids for 7 days
• Refrain from waxing, hair removal, or hair bleaching for 14 days
• Limit UV or sun exposure for 14 days

BioRePeel Aftercare

No downtime is a leading reason we see patients book the BioRePeel but that doesn’t mean no after care. After your treatment make sure to:

• Avoid makeup for 24-48 hours 
• Steer clear of AHAs, BHAs, and retinoids for 14 days
• Refrain from waxing, hair removal, or hair bleaching for 14 days
• Avoid swimming, tanning, and saunas for 14 days 
• Keep your skin hydrated with a moisturizer
• Diligently apply a broad spectrum 30+ SPF

Contraindications of BioRePeel

BioRePeel is suitable for ALMOST everyone, with exception if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Used Accutane or Isotretinoin in the last 6 months
• Had injectables in the last 14 days (fillers, botox, threads)
• Had prolonged sun exposure in the last 14 days
• Have any open wounds in the treatment area

This lipophilic and hydrophilic treatment provides biostimulation, revitalization, and peeling, to promote improved skin texture, collagen production, and cellular turnover. Its innovative design makes BioRePeel an effective, inclusive, and safe choice for skin rejuvenation year round.

This peel can be used for monthly maintenance or by following a corrective protocol with a treatment every 7-10 days for four weeks.
