What are the benefits of Dermaplaning?

Will my facial hair grow back darker?

No! This is an old wive’s tale that shaving (or Dermaplaning) will cause hair to grow back thicker, darker, or faster. Dermaplaning cannot alter your hair growth in any way, as this is determined by genetics and hormones.

Who is a candidate for Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is not recommended for people with active acne or inflamed skin, as it can aggravate these conditions. It is also not recommended for people with certain skin conditions, such as eczema or rosacea.

How often should I get Dermaplaning?

The frequency of Dermaplaning treatments will depend on your skin type and individual needs. It is generally recommended to wait at least four weeks between treatments to allow the skin to fully regenerate, but 4-6 weeks is a great timeframe.
